Hotel Sales ManagerLocation: Sheraton Augusta HotelProperty Size: 150 Rooms + Meeting & Event SpacePosition Summary: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts targeting corporate, group, and event business. This role focuses on maximizing occupancy, meeting space utilization, and overall profitability for a 150-room full-service hotel with meeting and event facilities. The ideal candidate is results-driven, relationship-focused, and experienced in hotel sales within a competitive market.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue goals for rooms, meetings, and eventsIdentify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities including corporate accounts, group bookings, and social eventsMaintain and grow relationships with existing clients, local businesses, and key accountsConduct site tours, client presentations, and sales calls (both in-person and virtual)Manage RFPs, proposals, contract negotiations, and closing of group and event businessCollaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing, inventory, and forecasting strategiesPartner with marketing to promote hotel offerings, packages, and special promotionsWork closely with operations and events teams to ensure seamless execution and high guest satisfactionAttend industry events, networking functions, and local business meetings to generate leadsMaintain accurate records in STR systems and provide regular sales reports and forecastsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred3+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a full-service or branded hotel environmentProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong knowledge of group sales, corporate accounts, and event planning processesExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsProficiency with hotel sales systems (e.g., Delphi, Lightspeed, or similar Ci-Ty/PMS tools)Ability to work independently while collaborating across departmentsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailKey Competencies:Results-oriented with strong closing skillsRelationship building and networkingStrategic thinking and market awarenessTime management and multitaskingCustomer-focused mindsetCompensation & Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysEmployee travel discountsProfessional development opportunitiesJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
