Immigration Attorney

Since 1999, THE LAW OFFICES OF DOMINIC E. CAPECI have been dedicated to helping immigrants, not only in the Bay Area, but around the nation. We are seeking an immigration Associate Attorney to join our team in our boutique office across from the Transamerica Pyramid in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. An immigration Associate Attorney will litigate a diverse range of complex immigration cases, and he, she, they will have the opportunity to expand his, her, their legal skills, while making a lasting impact on clients' lives. The Law Offices of Capeci and Rodezno provide the immigrant community with a full spectrum of immigration legal services, including in the areas of family-based immigration, U nonimmigrant visas, consular processing abroad, “deportation defense” before the Immigration Court, asylum, naturalization, appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and petitions before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. We have appeared before nearly every Immigration Court in-person throughout the country. Responsibilities include: appearing before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services; authoring briefs and motions with the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; and, litigating family-based petitions, asylum applications, naturalization applications, provisional waivers, fraud waivers, complex adjustment of status applications, and other such administrative cases; and, preparing evidentiary submissions in furtherance of deportation (removal) cases with the assistance of a Legal Assistant or Paralegal. Candidates also must: possess a Juris Doctorate; be a member of a State Bar in good standing; possess two to five years of immigration law experience ideally; possess fluency in English and Spanish (additional fluency in Portuguese is preferable); have a commitment to serving the immigrant community; and, have strong communication and interpersonal skills. This is not a remote position. It is in-person. One day remote is possible.
