Yard Attendant Fast-Paced Automotive Environment

We're looking for a motivated Yard Attendant to help manage and organize our busy automotive yard. In this role, you'll be responsible for moving vehicles, inspecting new arrivals, and ensuring everything is properly documented and secured. What You'll Do

As a Yard Attendant, you'll play a key part in day-to-day yard operations:

• Operate a forklift to safely move vehicles and position them in designated areas
• Scan incoming vehicles using a handheld device for accurate inventory tracking
• Inspect vehicles for damage and document any issues
• Photograph vehicles thoroughly, capturing key angles and condition details
• Wrap broken windows or exposed areas to protect interiors from weather
• Remove debris or non-essential items from vehicles
• Process 2750 vehicles daily with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
• Work independently to complete daily tasks and meet productivity goals
• Provide basic customer service when interacting with staff or visitors

What You Bring

• Ability to operateor willingness to learnforklift operation in a yard setting
• Strong attention to detail, especially during inspections and documentation
• Comfort working outdoors in all seasons (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Reliable work ethic and accountability
• Basic general labor experience and physical stamina
• Comfort using handheld devices for scanning and tracking
• Good communication and basic customer service skills

Bonus Experience (Nice to Have)

• Previous yard, general labor, or outdoor work experience
• Automotive industry familiarity or experience handling vehicles
• Forklift or heavy equipment experience
• Experience with inventory systems or stock control
• Strong interest in detail-oriented inspection work

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
