Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during a 13-week assignment. Prior travel experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival to ensure timely care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech 6.0 electronic medical records system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and care plans.
• Respond to emergency calls and take necessary call shifts, including 24-hour coverage when required.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license.
• Demonstrate previous experience in emergency room settings.
• Possess Meditech 6.0 EMR experience (preferred but not mandatory).
• Show ability to work 36 hours per week in 12-hour shifts.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be willing to take on call shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.
