As a Cleaning Technician, you'll perform residential and commercial cleaning services following fire, water, mold, and other property damage, as well as specialty cleaning projects. You'll work closely with customers, helping restore their homes and businesses while delivering exceptional service during challenging situations. Responsibilities include performing residential and commercial cleaning services, cleaning contents, furniture, and personal belongings following fire, water, and mold losses, completing general, deep, and specialty cleaning projects, operating professional cleaning equipment and specialized tools, safely using cleaning products and chemicals according to company procedures, packing, inventorying, transporting, and returning customer belongings when necessary, following SERVPRO cleaning and restoration procedures, documenting work performed using company software and mobile devices, maintaining a clean, organized company vehicle and work area, communicating professionally with customers, office staff, and team members, ensuring all work meets company quality and safety standards, and assisting with emergency response services as needed.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, the ability to work on your feet for extended periods, a strong work ethic and positive attitude, excellent communication and customer service skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.
Preferred qualifications include professional cleaning, restoration, janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience, experience in restoration, construction, or property maintenance, experience operating commercial cleaning equipment, and IICRC certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching frequently, standing and walking for extended periods, working in residential, commercial, and industrial environments, and occasionally working evenings, weekends, or overtime during emergency response events.
Schedule includes full-time, Monday through Friday, a typical schedule between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM, and overtime and occasional weekend work may be required during emergency response situations.
