Product Demonstrator Part Time

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations, including preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate engages consumers with product demonstrations in a professional manner, maintains a clean and comfortable workstation, and presents a professional appearance. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week; however, the company reserves discretion to modify the role as needed. Responsibilities Possess the aptitude to learn product knowledge quickly. Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner. Effectively communicate product features and benefits. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Execute 100% of assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports per company policy. Submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Use Microsoft Outlook and related software to access documents such as Word and PDF forms. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; one to three months of related experience or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands Stand and walk during shifts; use hands and fingers for tasks; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions and perform tasks; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step onto ladders; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; handle cleaning supplies; be in contact with cleaning chemicals. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Work Environment Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance Maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming. Appropriate cleaning attire and personal grooming standards are required. Language Skills English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
