- Review documents provided by our independent field adjusters for accuracy and compliance with policy terms, estimating guidelines, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct file reviews and analyze the claim handling, investigation, coverage application, and payments of claims.
- Compile metrics and trends and create accurate and professional reports.
- Identify training needs and promote consistency of claim handling.
- Provide feedback to members of the Claims Department and other departments in the organization.
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner and contribute to department goals.
- Maintain up to date knowledge and compliance with Company procedures, claim related statutes, insurance regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Deliver high quality customer service to our internal and external partners.
- Overnight travel and/or extended work hours beyond regular business hours may be required, including weekends, holidays, during a catastrophe response and/or as needed.
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in property and casualty claims
- Quality assurance experience is preferred
- Field claim handling experience is preferred
