  • Partner with Internal Audit and functional leaders to support compliance monitoring, testing, audits, and follow-up on corrective actions.

  • Support the Compliance Committee structure, including meeting preparation, agendas, materials, minutes, follow-up items, owner coordination, and recurring reporting across compliance program areas.

  • Coordinate with compliance program owners and subject matter experts to maintain a clear view of applicable regulatory, industry, customer, and internal policy requirements and related ownership.

  • Participate in compliance risk assessment processes, including identifying key requirements, assessing current controls, ranking risk exposure, documenting evidence, and recommending practical improvements.

  • Develop executive-ready reporting, dashboards, presentations, and summaries for the Chief Compliance Officer, senior leadership, Compliance Committee, Investigations Committee, and Audit Committee.

  • Use data, metrics, and trend analysis to identify emerging compliance risks, recurring issues, training needs, control gaps, and opportunities to strengthen program effectiveness.

  • Represent the compliance team in cross-functional meetings and build strong relationships with field leadership, corporate functions, and operational stakeholders.

  • Support ESG initiatives and projects.

  • Support other central compliance team projects and initiatives as assigned.

  • Strong practical orientation, with the ability to make compliance requirements understandable, actionable, and operational for field and corporate teams.

  • Ability to distill complex issues, identify key risks, and develop clear recommendations for leadership.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and influence others without formal authority.

  • Field-focused mindset and appreciation for operational realities in a distributed business environment.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, follow through on deadlines, and drive work to completion.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise executive summaries, reports, presentations, and field-facing communications.

  • A commitment to supporting a strong ethical culture and protecting the integrity of Vestis, its teammates, customers, and stakeholders.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, audit, investigations, risk management, operations, human resources, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting a corporate compliance program, hotline/investigation process, policy program, risk assessment process, training program, audit/monitoring activity, or related governance process preferred.
