About the Position

Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: AK RN License preferred, pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: On-call Required Weekend Coverage Required Description: Seeking an experienced CVOR RN. Responsible for care in the cardiovascular operating room. First-time travelers are accepted. The candidate should have experience in various cardiac procedures. Skills required include atrial septal defect repair, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Experience with infection control, blood administration, specimen handling, and laser safety is essential. The candidate must be willing to float within the facility or to affiliate facilities. The role may require on-call duties during weekends. The facility provides all necessary scrubs. Charting will be done using the Epic electronic health record system. Additional requirements include adherence to safety protocols and universal procedures.
