REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) at Les Peters Academy in Tampa, Florida (relocating to St. Petersburg, FL). Pay: $36.06 per hour, Non‑Exempt. What You Will Do Work as a member of the Site Medical Team, providing general health care to students and staff within the scope of the license. Administer immunizations and perform health maintenance activities, including TB screens and Hepatitis B vaccines. Educate students, staff, and the community on relevant health topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood‑borne pathogens, CPR, first aid, and behavioral disorders. Assist with training duties for site employees and provide individualized parenting instruction for pregnant or postpartum students. Coordinate students for psychiatric review and execute psychiatric orders as prescribed. Collaborate with the Clinical Director/Psychologist to meet students’ psychiatric evaluation and medication management needs. Work with providers and community agencies to plan programs that meet students’ health care needs. Order or direct the ordering of supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. Requirements Valid, clear Registered Nurse license from the state of Florida. Bachelor’s degree in a related health‑care field preferred but not required. Minimum of two years of medical services experience preferred but not required. Good interpersonal skills required. Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
