A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager role in Oneonta, NY. This position offers an important role in overseeing pharmacy operations to ensure top-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Both interim and permanent positions are available, with a schedule structured to support work-life balance.

Location:

• Oneonta, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all federal, state, board regulations, and company policies.
• Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial objectives.
• Lead pharmacy support staff, oversee performance, provide training, and enforce regulatory and company standards.
• Engage in business development activities within the store and local community.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, interactions, side effects, and monitor therapy outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Complete ongoing continuing education as required by state law.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in New York State.
• Immunization certification with comfort in administering all vaccines (required).
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
