We're looking for an experienced Commercial Carpenter to join a growing general contracting team in Manchester, CT. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to work on a variety of commercial construction projects.
As part of a small team, you'll be involved in all aspects of the job—from carpentry and site preparation to transporting tools and materials between job sites. Every day brings something different, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and make a direct impact.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Pay Range: $23-$25/hr+ (DOE)
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry on commercial construction and renovation projects
- Work with wood, metal, and masonry structures
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and material handling
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials between job sites using company vehicles
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of carpentry or commercial construction experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience using standard carpentry hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
