Associate Market ManagerThis role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.Whether it's hotels, rental cars, flights, cruises or packages, our Lines of Business develop the relationships we need to generate great deals and then get them to Priceline customers – so they can experience all the moments that matter to them.Why This Job's a Big Deal:As an Associate Market Manager, your key objective is to develop and maintain Priceline's network of hotel partnerships and accommodation supply inventory through building, establishing and strengthening account relationships. The Associate Market Manager demonstrates their knowledge of the travel industry, and their experience in sales negotiation, revenue management and data analysis, to increase revenue by optimizing Priceline's hotel partnerships. Additionally, this role is expected to identify trends, optimize pricing, ensure content competitiveness, and use data to secure business wins that ensure consumer demand on both Priceline.com and Agoda.com storefronts.In this role you will get to:Build strong hotel supplier relationships and effectively communicate Priceline and Agoda's value proposition to grow bookings, room nights and revenue in assigned portfolioPrioritize, plan and implement effectively to meet/exceed defined targets and goalsAnalyze data to identify business growth opportunities and ensure the competitiveness of Priceline and Agoda's products by evaluating market trends, partner performance, and competitor landscapeConduct ongoing reviews of production with hotel accounts and present strategic recommendations to optimize hotel performance, using a consultative approachIdentify, prioritize, negotiate, contract and onboard non-participating hotels, ensuring favorable terms and conditionsResearch and troubleshoot rate and availability issues preventing hotels from improving booking performanceEducate and train hotel partners on Priceline and Agoda systems, tools, programs and reportingCollaborate with internal partners to complete business initiatives and drive market strategyPrepare presentations and materials to present at both external and internal meetingsRepresent Priceline and Agoda in assigned market(s), participate in industry organizations and events, and establish relationships with key local influencersWho You Are:Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in any relevant fieldOne to three years' experience in sales; travel industry experience preferredDemonstrated success acquiring & building long term customer relationshipsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence external and internal collaboratorsStrong sales negotiation skills and ability to creatively "think on the fly" when negotiating with hotel partnersA great teammate with a professional "get it done" attitude and work ethicAdapts well to change and thrives in a fast-paced environmentStrong critical thinking and data analysis skillsPossesses self-awareness, a sense of curiosity and a growth mindsetComfortable in two-way feedback cultureFlexible to travel for partner visits and meetingsIllustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.The Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it's a way of life.
