Job Full Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / CNC Machine Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong machining background who enjoys working with precision equipment and programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts. The company specializes in 3-axis milling operations and manufactures components ranging from standard-sized parts to intricate, small-scale pieces.

Job Summary

• Program CNC machines and electronic machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling and lathe equipment.
• Perform 3-axis milling operations according to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Machine parts using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related equipment.
• Adjust machine settings and programs to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues as needed.

Experience Required

• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience programming and operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes.
• Experience programming HAAS and MIYANO CNC Lathes preferred.
• Experience with Fusion 360 and G-Code programming.
• Background working with precision-machined components and tight tolerances.

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and machine setup procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and commitment to workplace safety.

Location: Bedford, IN
Position Type: Evaluation-to-Hire
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
