AccountantReports To: Sr. Accounting ManagerJob Type: Full Time EmployeeTeam: Accounting & FinanceLocation: Buena Park, CASummaryResponsible for managing billing, recording revenue, reconciling customer accounts, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables. This role supports financial accuracy, month-end close activities, and customer communication to maintain healthy cash flow for the organization.Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit memos, and billing adjustments.Process daily sales and cash receipts while investigating and resolving discrepancies between recorded and actual amounts.Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts to reduce outstanding balances.Assist bank account reconciliations and generate a reconciliation reportInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash.Work closely with the operations team and store managers to ensure timely account resolution.Generate and analyze AR Aging Reports to monitor overdue invoices and prioritize collection efforts.Assist preparation of audits and reportsPerform other accounting related tasksMonitor and manage prepaid card inventory and dispatch per order statusQualifications:Qualifications for an accountant include having an extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; having strong accounts payable skills; being able to handle multiple projects in a given time, including during deadline periods; being a self-starter as well as a team player.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field3 years of accounts receivable experienceThorough knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts receivable functions and proceduresSAP experience highly preferredMaintain high attention to detail and strict deadlinesMust be able to work efficiently in a team independentlyStrong communication skills both verbal and written – Bilingual English and Korean requiredGeneral Microsoft office knowledge with proficiency in Excel including functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot tablesEmployee BenefitsMed/Den/Vis/Life Insurance (100% Company Covered) from Day 1Short Term and Long-Term Disability Leave (short term 100% covered)401(k) Company MatchLife allowance Reimbursements (Monthly)Cellphone ReimbursementsEmployee Discounts (40% off CJ products & services)Paid Time Off (generous and increases by tier!)Paid Creative Leave (up to 4 weeks specified on years of service)Paid Holidays (11 days)Employee Club Activities (movie, e-sports, book, sports activity club, etc.)& Much More
