Learning and Development Specialist

We’re looking for a Sr. Learning and Development Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where ideas flow freely and collaboration fuels innovation. In this role, you’ll leads the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning programs that support employee growth and business success. Partnering with leaders across the organization, this role identifies development needs, creates engaging learning solutions, and drives measurable performance outcomes. The position also serves as the administrator and subject matter expert for the Workday Learning Management System, ensuring an effective and scalable learning experience for all employees. This position is located on‑site in our Jacksonville, FL office. What You'll Do: Design, develop, and deliver innovative learning programs that support business objectives, employee development, and organizational growth. Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs, address performance gaps, and implement effective learning solutions. Create engaging instructor‑led, virtual, hybrid, and e‑learning training programs for employees at all levels of the organization. Develop onboarding, leadership development, compliance, and professional skills training programs that enhance employee performance and career growth. Administer and optimize the Workday Learning Management System (LMS), including course management, learning paths, reporting, and user support. Build interactive learning content using modern instructional design techniques, multimedia, assessments, and learner engagement tools. Measure training effectiveness through evaluations, reporting, and performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement. Lead learning and development projects from concept through implementation, managing timelines, stakeholder communication, and successful execution. Provide coaching and support to internal trainers, managers, and subject matter experts to ensure high‑quality learning experiences. Stay current on learning technologies, instructional design trends, and best practices to continuously enhance the employee learning experience. Your Experience: Bachelor’s degree in learning and development, instructional design, human resources, organizational development, education, business, or a related field required. 5-7 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or organizational development is required. Advanced degree or professional certification in learning and development, instructional design, talent development, coaching, HR, or project management preferred. Experience administering and optimizing Learning Management Systems (Workday preferred), including course management, reporting, learning paths, and user support. Proven experience designing and delivering impactful learning and development programs using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices. Strong ability to partner with business leaders to identify performance gaps and develop effective, results‑driven learning solutions. Experience creating engaging training content, including instructor‑led, virtual, and e‑learning programs using tools such as Articulate and Camtasia. Demonstrated success managing multiple learning projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, meeting deadlines, and driving initiatives from concept to implementation. Excellent facilitation, presentation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills with experience measuring learning effectiveness, interpreting data, and continuously improving training programs based on results and feedback. Why CSI?
