Asaro Bakery and Café is a family-owned bakery and café, located at 1629 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA. We are looking for talented individuals that are eager to learn, passionate about the bakery and café business, and are excited to be part of a small team that is dedicated to producing high quality hand-made baked goods, sandwiches, espresso drinks, and other delicious delights. Benefits Competitive salary Employee discounts Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Starting hourly wage: $20 - $24 Base hourly wage: $16 Tips; average of additional $6-$8 in hourly rate from tips, distributed bi-weekly 50% off on all food and merchandise Qualifications Prior experience working in a café, coffee shop, or retail/hospitality environment is preferred, but by no means a must have Enjoys working in a fast pace, customer facing environment Reliable, consistent, and punctual with your time Strong communication skills to warmly engage with customers and teammates Enjoy interacting with customers, making sure each interaction leaves a lasting positive impression our customers Interest in working as part of a small team; help and work in all areas of the espresso bar and cashier counter Attention to details, cleanliness, and a desire to output products at the highest quality Able to reach overhead, lift, move, and carry 50+lbs Desire to learn and constantly grow as a person Responsibilities Deliver exceptional hospitality to our customers, your teammates, suppliers, and vendors Build working knowledge of all of Asaro’s products Keeping the counter and point-of-sales area clean and organized Provide friendly, fast, and accurate service to our customers Varies from day to day, depending on the bakery and café’s needs #J-18808-Ljbffr ASARO BAKERY AND CAFE INC
