Staff Tech Lead, Perception

Responsibilities

• Train multi-billion-parameter spatio-temporal foundation models on multi-billion-frame datasets.
• Deliver pre-trained models for production use, ideally in real-time systems.
• Develop self-supervised learning methods for image/video encoders, 3D point cloud encoders, spatio-temporal reconstruction or future prediction, and vision-language contrastive learning.
• Develop multi-teacher distillation recipes.
• Evaluate latent representation quality and collaborate with post-training teams on world knowledge representations.
• Develop methods to curate and effectively use diverse training datasets.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or an equivalent amount of deep learning experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Machine Learning and/or Computer Vision.
• Fluency in Python.
• In-depth experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
• Preferred: publications at top-tier conferences including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, ICML, ICRA, RSS, NeurIPS, AAAI, IJCV, or PAMI.
• Preferred: experience with C++.
• Preferred: experience with real-time system design.
