Senior QA EngineerLocation: Oakland/Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid)Duration: 8+ months ContractClient: Kaiser Permanente - East BayBill Rate: $68Pay Rate: $50 W2Required Skills:10+ years as a QA Engineer in a mid-large size enterprise/corporation.5+ years’ Experience in testing mobile (iOS) apps3+ years of QA automation experience3+ years’ experience as a leadBrief Program Info:Team provides Video and collaboration-based solutions our clinicians and patient population to provide best-in-class care delivery.Video Remote Interpreter solution enabled on iPad/ PC/iPhone/SIP integration API modalities.Team is also developing new solutions for clinician collaboration using real-time collaboration solutions and platforms along with solutions that leverage events streams, ML and NLP technologies for IOS and Desktop platforms.The solutions portfolio uses MircoServices Architecture, React/Node JS, Java and Java script stack with SQL and No-SQL DBs, Future roadmap to enable ML and AI based solutions for healthcare service enablement needs are also in works.Job Description:Develop the overall test strategy, Master test plan for the system.Create test scripts, test plans, test specifications and requirements traceability matrix for iOS apps and webapps.Hands on experience in designing and executing Automation test cases and scripts for Web and iOS apps.Responsible for the validation of the various applications (Web based and iOS Apps).Understanding processes and functionality, knowledge of the overall system, mapping of required interfaces, and understanding of data requirements.Meeting with the product and engineering teams to determine quality assurance scope for the project.Designing end to end QA test procedures with optimal mix of manual and automation test cases.Hands on role with responsibility for day-to-day test preparation and test execution activities.Work on synthetic test data set up for various environments.Execution of test deliverables, analysis of test results, detection and documentation of defects, and validation of bug fixes.Required Skills:BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related fields10+ years as a QA Engineer in a mid-large size enterprise/corporation.5+ years’ Experience in testing mobile (iOS) apps3+ years of QA automation experience3+ years’ experience as a leadWork on Front end, back end and API testing of applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to document, test strategy, test plans, test scripts and test cases.5+ years working with Agile, Scrum processes and experience in documenting use cases and test cases.Experience with incident management and tools like Service Now, JIRA, GITExcellent analytical skills to ensure root causes are identified for issues.Ensure requirements traceability is maintained in the validation test scripts and results.Proficiency in SQL to access relational DatabasesExperience with test data prep for SQL/ NoSQL databasesExcellent Analytical skillsTeam player who has experience in working with geographically distributed teamPreferred Skills:Programming in Python/Java /scripting skills
