Contract | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 14-Week Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients undergoing short-stay (24–48 hour) observation for various medical diagnoses
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Manage occasional overflow surgical patients as unit needs require
• Function autonomously in a fast-paced observation setting without reliance on medication drips
• Float within scope to Medical/Surgical Telemetry as needed to meet facility demands
• Fulfill on-call requirements of 5–6 night shifts per 6-week period (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license (must be active and in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Ability to work 2–3 weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) per 6-week schedule
• Finalized time-off requests must be submitted at time of submission; no additions accepted after contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• 2–3 years of telemetry experience preferred, particularly for first-time travelers
