Full Time Wally's Whitestown, Whitestown, IN, US Salary Range: $15.00 To $19.00 Hourly Position Description Kitchen Team Members are an essential part of Wally’s food service operation, helping prepare and serve the fresh, high-quality food our guests expect. This role works alongside the kitchen team to prepare menu items, maintain clean workstations, and keep kitchen operations running smoothly throughout the day. Our kitchen environment is fast-paced and team-driven. Whether preparing food, stocking ingredients, or keeping the kitchen clean and organized, Kitchen Team Members help ensure every guest receives the quality and hospitality Wally’s is known for. What You’ll Do at Wally’s Prepare Food Items Assist with preparing menu items using recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation standards to ensure consistent quality and presentation. Maintain Clean Workstations Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils, and prep stations clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift. Help maintain food production during busy periods by assisting with prep work, assembling menu items, and restocking ingredients. Follow Food Safety Standards Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe kitchen environment and prevent cross-contamination. Assist with stocking, rotating, and organizing ingredients using proper FIFO practices to maintain freshness and reduce waste. Work as Part of a Team Communicate with teammates and leaders to keep kitchen operations running smoothly and efficiently.
