Overview Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care on Mercy St.Louis’s Telemetry Level2 (Tele2) unit. Tele2 offers care at an acuity level between step‑down and general med‑tele, providing an excellent opportunity to build advanced clinical skills in a smaller, close‑knit setting. Patient Population Adult patients (18–100years) with a variety of acute conditions, including congestive heart failure, chest pain (pre‑procedural monitoring prior to surgery/intervention), high oxygen support needs and continuous telemetry monitoring for cardiac and respiratory conditions. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a telemetry setting. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans. Manage patients with moderate to high acuity needs. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
