Falls Church, VA Pay From: $18 per hour

MUST:

• Experience working as a Medical Receptionist
• Must have 6 plus months of experience as a Medical Receptionist/ Customer Service experience
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have experience scheduling appointments
• Must be tech savvy
• Must be comfortable handling heavy incoming calls
• Experience handling insurance verifications
• ENT and/or Surgical experience is highly preferred

DUTIES:

• Registers new patients with complete and accurate demographics according to procedure
• Verifies patient's insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit
• Updates patients' charts so that the information is entered correctly
• Scans documents into the electronic medical record as directed
• Completes work daily to compile missing demographic and insurance information for billing purposes
• Obtain prior authorizations for care
• Answer phones taking patient demographic information
• Other duties as assigned
