Transportation Driver / Maintenance Assistant

Essential Job Functions:

• Transport community residents to and from medical appointments, activities and shopping errands using a community-owned vehicle
• Assist residents in getting into and out of the vehicle, carrying packages and opening doors
• Maintain vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with Majestic Rim standards
• Deliver excellent customer service while performing maintenance in apartments and common areas
• Perform preventive maintenance, complete work orders, and assist the Maintenance Director
• Follow procedures for safety, sanitation, and hazard prevention

Qualifications:

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Positive attitude with ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Must possess a current state driver's license and have a clean driving record
• Must have proof of personal automobile insurance
• Must have 1 year of maintenance or handyman experience
• Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach, carry, and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
