About the Role:
The Physical Therapist Assistant at Mayfair Care Center plays a vital role in our rehabilitation team, providing essential care and support to our patients. As a member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work in a home-like environment, surrounded by a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
Conduct patient assessments under the supervision of a physical therapist
Implement treatment plans, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, to promote patient progress
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of New York
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
