RemX Staffing is seeking 5 Customer Care Representatives to join their client's growing team ONSITE in Columbus, OH. This is a temporary position with potential for hire.

In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for customers, helping them troubleshoot equipment, process warranty claims, answer product questions, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy critical thinking, technical problem-solving, and assisting customers during important moments, including weather-related emergencies.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Mandatory overtime during peak seasons (up to 2 hours daily)

Pay

• $19.00/hour

What You'll Do

• Answer inbound customer calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner
• Assist customers with product questions, troubleshooting, warranty claims, and service requests
• Guide customers through technical issues and equipment operation
• Provide support for generators, pressure washers, battery-powered equipment, and other outdoor power products
• De-escalate customer concerns while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Accurately document customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system
• Follow up on open customer cases as needed
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments
• Meet established customer service, quality, and productivity goals

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and empathetic during difficult conversations
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Interest in troubleshooting and learning technical concepts
• Ability to explain solutions clearly to customers
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Team-oriented attitude with strong accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous call center or customer service experience
• Experience with CRM systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
• Mechanical aptitude or technical troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with outdoor power equipment, generators, or small engines
• Experience handling high-volume customer interactions
