What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care for ICU patients in a high-acuity setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and special procedures such as TPN, wound care, drains, Foley, and narcotic administration
• Maintain detailed patient records using Epic electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support patient and family education regarding care plans and procedures
• Adapt to unit-specific protocols and emergency team assignments when needed

What You Need

• Valid ICU-specific RN license for Louisiana
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience; LTAC experience preferred but not required
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts and adapt to unit needs
