ESL Teacher, Grades K-8

Date Posted: 5/4/2026 Location: DISTRICTWIDE Qualifications Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in ESL, Bilingual or ENL in grades PK-8 Fluent in Spanish Ability to work well with Administrators, Teachers, and Students to implement instructional practices to meet IEP requirements for EL / ESL services. Ability to help ELL students to acquire fluency in English, both spoken and in the written word Good physical health and clean background check Prior training in ESL methods/techniques, preferred Previous teaching experience with bilingual/ESL students, preferred Reports to: Building Principal and/or Director of Student Services Performance responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching ESL Students. The ESL Teacher will provide direct instruction, collaborate with staff, differentiate instructions, assess student progress, create a supportive environment, administer language screenings, and coordinate and administer assessments under the guidance of the Director of Student Services.
