Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Perform sterile vaginal exams as part of routine patient assessment and monitoring
• Circulate in the Labor and Delivery and/or OR environment as needed
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Float between facilities within the state as assignment needs require

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Active California RN license in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Ability to circulate and perform sterile vaginal exams required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Experience in a large acute care hospital setting highly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
