Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for operating the forklift in a safe manner at all times.
- Performs Lift Truck Inspection check before using forklift each shift.
- Follow all safety guidelines/policies, proper use of equipment, etc.
- Pick orders - (pulling finished product from warehouse to fill orders).
- Stage orders to be loaded.
- Loading completed orders.
- Understanding of shipping/loading requirements, weight requirements, customers' special instructions.
- Warehousing (moving product to maximize usage of warehouse space)
- Perform cycle counts - to verify item quantities on hand.
- Moving finished goods from production holding area to the warehouse.
- Repackaging damaged materials as needed.
- Efficient use of time to maximize pounds/work hours.
- Learn how to use the many functions of dc-LINK Data Collection .
- Maintains proper housekeeping while performing duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and write to complete required forms and verify quality products are produced.
- Must have good vision, eye-hand coordination, and hearing.
- Ability to adhere to Berry's Safety, Health, and Environmental Vision, Policy, and Standards.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, days, or nights for 12 or more hours.
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and crawl for extended periods multiple times per day.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted.
- Must have manual dexterity involving total wrist action, twisting, pulling, and raising arms at or above shoulder height.
- Ability to work in warm, humid, and cool climates for 12 or more hours per day or night.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, steel toe shoes/boots, face shield, gloves, and face mask.
- Ability to operate a forklift and maintain a forklift operator license; ability to mount and dismount forklift unassisted multiple times per shift.
