Responsibilities

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and scheduled PMs on production machinery.

Monitor equipment performance to detect minor wear and prevent breakdown.

Log work orders and maintenance history accurately in the CMMS.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

Diagnose and repair conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Replace defective belts, chains, bearings, seals, and power transmission parts.

Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and technical manuals.

Electrical & Control Systems

Troubleshoot basic electrical issues (motors, switches, sensors, relays) up to 480V 3-phase.

Assist with basic PLC troubleshooting, VFD checks, and sensor alignments.

Fabrication & Safety

Perform MIG/TIG/Stick welding, torch cutting, and basic machining to fabricate or repair replacement parts.

Strictly enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and OSHA safety standards.

Respond promptly to downtime events to keep production running efficiently.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
