Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $2,685 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a contract in Urbana, Illinois. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Tasks Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within setting for facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within the state Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use medical center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged); exceptional candidates may have 6 months instead of 1 year BLS certification and state-specific licensing required Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
