AppleTree Staffing is seeking a Design Engineer with experience in laminate design, structural analysis, and production support. This role focuses on designing practical, manufacturable composite components and supporting them through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop laminate schedules, ply orientations, and stacking sequences for composite components
• Perform structural analysis using FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or NASTRAN
• Create and refine designs in CAD with a focus on manufacturability and performance
• Support production builds, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with manufacturing teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in composite design and analysis
• Strong knowledge of laminate theory, FEA, and CAD modeling
• Experience supporting designs from concept through production is preferred
