Electrical Engineer

A well-established engineering consulting organization is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to support complex building system projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse facility types-including laboratories, healthcare environments, industrial plants, higher education campuses, and commercial developments-while guiding projects from early planning through construction and occupancy.

• Lead electrical system design from initial concept through construction administration and post-occupancy evaluation.
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within financial targets.
• Conduct field assessments, site investigations, and evaluations of existing electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building, energy, and safety codes, including industry standards such as NFPA.
• Develop and document designs using BIM platforms and related engineering software tools.
• Mentor and review the work of junior engineers, fostering technical growth and maintaining quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design within a consulting or design-build environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; ability to obtain licensure is advantageous.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes and standards.
• Proficiency with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SKM PTW, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, project coordination, and analytical problem-solving skills.
