Your Role as a Quality Inspector 1 You will conduct standard visual and mechanical evaluations to verify that all parts and assemblies adhere to strict aerospace quality benchmarks. By assisting the QA department, auditors, and production staff, you will help ensure ongoing AS9100 and ISO compliance. This is an onsite position operating on a 4/10 schedule, specifically Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm. Key Responsibilities Conduct visual checks of solder joints and mechanical assessments of electro-mechanical assemblies to ensure high-quality output. Utilize your technical expertise to execute standard inspection workflows and manage the reporting of accepted or rejected items. Generate accurate documentation for tested components and assist in the resolution of corrective actions. Help maintain a high standard of quality by implementing and upholding established technical assurance procedures. Verify sensors and wiring using precision instruments like torque ranges, calipers, and micrometers to ensure product integrity. Contribute to the success of internal audits and help the team maintain consistent AS9100/ISO compliance. Ensure reliable attendance and remain flexible to work additional hours, weekends, or varying shifts as operational needs dictate. Required Qualifications Completion of high school or equivalent education. Minimum of one to two years of professional experience in a quality or inspection capacity. Proficiency with precision measurement tools including torque ranges, micrometers, filler gauges, and calipers. Familiarity with aerospace quality protocols and ISO 9001 standards. Demonstrated ability to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) following AS9102 guidelines. Capacity to execute complex instructions and apply a structured methodology to quality assurance tasks. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and parts lists while utilizing measurement equipment to drive accurate results. Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication abilities to facilitate clear team collaboration. Preferred Skills Experience utilizing diverse inspection hardware such as height gauges, comparators, surface tables, and V-blocks. Background in generating First Article Inspection Reports tailored to specific customer needs. Experience in documenting audit findings and conducting internal quality reviews. Understanding of GD&T principles based on ASME Y14.5 standards. Fluency in both English and Spanish. Compensation The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.14 - $22.68. #J-18808-Ljbffr Accelera
