About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN – South Carolina

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Schedule: Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required; 5:1 patient ratio across all shifts; 28-bed unit with daily census of 28 patients

Highlights:

• Work in an Accountable Care Unit (ACU) model with a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team approach
• Strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required; serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; flu vaccination mandatory
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; previous charge experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (current)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience
• Experience with 5:1 or 6:1 patient ratios
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions available)
• Flexibility to float to other qualified units as needed based on census requirements
• Must reside 100+ miles from facility location (distance requirements apply; compensation adjustments for 90-99.9 miles)
