As a Security Officer Alarm Response Patrol in Palm Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and contribute to Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
