Physical Therapist

$2420.80/week - Job Summary: Provides skilled physical therapy services to patients within a hospital's Skilled Nursing Unit and potential acute care settings. Responsible for facilitating patient recovery and promoting functional independence through individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities: Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Implement therapy interventions tailored to each patient's needs and recovery goals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly. Supervise and guide rehab aides and PTA staff in therapy delivery. Maintain compliance with all certification and licensing requirements. Qualifications: Hold a valid Physical Therapist license or a Temporary License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists or a Physical Therapist Compact License. Possess BLS certification and familiarity with general certification standards. Demonstrate experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehab therapy within acute or skilled nursing settings. Exhibit strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Capable of functioning effectively across all hospital floors and units. Show excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
