IT Cloud Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead the migration of on‑prem applications to the cloud and maintain cloud applications. This hands‑on role involves designing, coding, implementing Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliability engineering, monitoring, and incident response. Responsibilities Set up infrastructure environments in the cloud using an infra‑as‑code approach. Migrate on‑prem applications to the cloud. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the application. Set up monitoring and alerting solutions for the application. Deliver code and scripts; manage suppliers to ensure delivery of IT services. Support application DevOps lifecycle. Perform POCs with new technology solutions (50%). Provide L3 support for production incidents. Maintain application, infrastructure, and DevOps pipelines. Monitor application and infrastructure; collaborate with developers in testing and fixing bugs. Onboard APIs to OneAPI/Kong gateway. Perform database data refresh from production to lower environment (40%). Guide developers and QA engineers on how to use the software. Communicate with upstream and downstream IT teams to ensure smooth operations. Provide on‑call support for the application when needed (10%). Qualifications Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; relocation assistance not provided. Minimum 8 years of overall IT work experience. Minimum 8 years in Information Technology; Bachelor's Degree required (Computer Information Science, etc.). Required certification: American Payroll Association (APA). Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ‑400); GitHub Actions Certification; Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305). Additional Knowledge Experience setting up and managing Azure environments using Terraform. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and FluxCD. Experience in on‑prem to cloud migration. Experience with Kubernetes (containerization). Experience with monitoring and alerting: Azure Monitor and Datadog. Experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering. Familiar with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions pipelines, FluxCD, Helm. Familiar with security and compliance practices: Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark, Coverity. Skills e‑Technologies/Web.
