Customer Account Specialist

We're partnering with a well-established, industry-leading manufacturer to add a Customer Account Specialist to its growing team. In this role, you'll serve as a key point of contact for assigned customers, managing orders from placement through delivery while partnering with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Warehouse teams to keep everything running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Manage customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the order lifecycle.
• Process customer orders accurately and coordinate timely fulfillment and delivery.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve order discrepancies, address customer concerns, and prevent delays.
• Communicate order status, shipping updates, and delivery timelines to customers.
• Coordinate returns, RMAs, customer cases, and issue resolution from initiation through completion.
• Prepare quotes and assist with pricing, product availability, and order-related inquiries.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with internal teams to prioritize customer needs.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive service, proactive communication, and effective problem-solving.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen customer partnerships, support account growth, and improve the overall customer experience.
• Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and enhance service delivery.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, customer success, customer operations, sales support, account coordination, or order management within a B2B environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or supply chain environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing orders and coordinating multiple moving parts.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, troubleshoot issues, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Location & Travel

This is a remote position with some travel required. Candidates must be located within the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
