Spring River Inn is seeking a Full-Time or PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Roswell, New Mexico. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role plays a critical part in helping patients regain function, improve communication, and enhance overall quality of life.

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication and safe swallowing function

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations

• SNF or long-term care experience preferred

• Knowledge of current speech therapy practices and dysphagia management

• Experience with Net Health or similar EMR systems preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of New Mexico

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (or Clinical Fellowship candidates welcome, if applicable)

• License must be active and in good standing
