Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Senior Specialist

Stryker seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety Senior Specialist to lead EHS strategy and regulatory compliance at its Ventura manufacturing facility. The role involves developing safety programs, conducting audits and investigations, managing environmental initiatives, and fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead site EHS strategy and serve as primary subject-matter expert for regulatory compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs aligned with Cal-OSHA and other regulatory standards
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; drive corrective action implementation
- Lead ergonomic evaluations and coordinate industrial hygiene sampling programs
- Manage EHS budgets and identify cost-efficiency opportunities while monitoring performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of EHS program experience
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-level influence capabilities
- Ability to interpret and implement regulatory requirements
- Experience with OSHA, EPA, or other EHS regulators (preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management systems (preferred)
- Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM (preferred)
Compensation: $76,500 - $122,000 USD Annual
