Our mission is to empower women to heal from the inside out, enabling them to lead productive and fulfilling lives. We currently operate two recovery homes—Freedom House and Victory House—and aim to expand our reach by establishing a third home. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing relationships within the community to secure donations that will support our current operations and fund the establishment of a third recovery home. Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement: Travel to churches, local businesses, and community events to raise awareness about Armor Up's mission and programs Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, potential donors, and partner organizations. Fundraising: Identify and pursue fundraising opportunities, including securing donations and organizing fundraising events. Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to align fundraising strategies with organizational goals. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and provide regular updates on progress and achievements. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development, sales, or fundraising, preferably within the nonprofit sector. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of working independently. Passion for the mission of Armor Up and a commitment to supporting women in recovery. Willingness to travel within Central Florida and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
