About the role

As a  Principal Engineer , you will be the first level of technical escalation for M365 & Intune. We will count on you to be an expert in M365 portal administration and very good understanding of license and subscription. Along the way, you will get to:

• Serve as the final escalation point for complex Microsoft 365-related incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve critical issues impacting the availability and performance of Microsoft 365 services.    
• Design and implement advanced configurations in Microsoft Exchange Online, including hybrid deployments and advanced mail flow scenarios.  
• Perform mailbox migrations and implement high-availability solutions.  

What we’re looking for

• Experience: 8 to 14 years
• Roles and Responsibilities

1. First level of technical escalation for M365 & Intune.

2. SME, Shift lead. Shift supervision. Review INCs / SRs.

3. Expert in M365 portal administration and very good understanding of license and subscription.

4. Proficient in all Office 365 workload- Exchange Online, Teams, SPO & OneDrive.

• Desired skill set-

· Should be an expert of Azure Identity and authentication.

· Understanding of EXO, Intune, SPO, Azure AD , SSO, Teams, MDO , MDE, MS Purview , MS Viva

. Escalated Incident Resolution: - Serve as the final escalation point for complex Microsoft 365-related incidents, problems, and service requests.    - Analyze, diagnose, and resolve critical issues impacting the availability and performance of Microsoft 365 services.

· Advanced Exchange Online Management :  - Design and implement advanced configurations in Microsoft Exchange Online, including hybrid deployments and advanced mail flow scenarios. Perform mailbox migrations and implement high-availability solutions.

· SharePoint and OneDrive Expertise:  - Lead the resolution of complex issues related to SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business, including data governance, compliance, and custom solutions.    - Provide guidance on optimal SharePoint architecture and document management strategies.

· Identity and Access Management :  - Architect and implement advanced identity and access management solutions using Azure Active Directory Premium features.    - Provide expertise in Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Azure AD Connect configurations. 

· Security and Compliance Leadership : - Design, implement, and manage advanced security measures within Microsoft 365, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), and Azure Information Protection. Lead security incident response activities and investigations.

· Automation and Scripting Mastery : - Develop and implement advanced automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages. Lead automation initiatives to streamline administrative tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

· Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and best practices.Mentor and share knowledge with Level 1 and Level 2 support engineers.

Qualifications : BE/B.Tech Extensive experience in a Level 3 support role with a focus on Microsoft 365 services.
Certifications such as SC-300, MS-100 , MS-101, MS-700, ITIL are highly desirable.
Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
Proven experience in leading incident response and problem-solving initiatives.
Excellent communication , leadership, and collaboration skills.
