Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling physical therapist in Milton, FL at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of discipline specific therapy services for assigned patients. Ensures functional treatment programs support return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students and coworkers. Completes documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity and charge entry in compliance with guidelines and clinic policy. Adheres to professional standards, state practice act and maintains licensure. Participates in professional development and performance improvement initiatives. Follow clinic safety practices and organizational code of conduct.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation and meet regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience supervising students or support staff preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical outcome measures and letters of medical necessity preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
