Role Summary

Our Medical Assistants engage with our patients day-in and out and they are vital to the patient experience. They are caring, compassionate, and work well together as a team. They work closely with our Physicians to provide exceptional patient care.

Some day to day duties include:

• Prioritize and triage patient flow in OR
• Assists physician with all procedures, including embryo transfers, in the OR and Post Op, if needed
• Performs phlebotomy

Maintains Operating Room/ASC

• Prepares operating room for procedures
• Disinfects and cleans OR between patients and at end of the day
• Completion of daily cleaning and supply ordering/inventory checklists
• Autoclaves with an acceptable sterile technique
• Keeps logs updated daily as per guideline requirement
• Ensures all opening and closing protocols are executed effectively
• Assists nurses with tasks regarding additional OR needs

Education, Licenses, Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• CPT1 certification

Employment Type

This is a full-time non-exempt onsite position that requires early hours, rotational weekends and holidays.

Compensation

The starting salary range for this role is $25-29/hr. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
