Medical Registration Clerk (PRN)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PRN Registration Clerk to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Register patients into the hospital or clinic's electronic health record system accurately and efficiently
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Respond to patient inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the registration department

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in medical office administration or registration preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic office software
• Flexibility to work PRN (as needed) and adapt to varying schedules
