Job Description As a Security Guard Patrol Officer in Grove City, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and remain visible to help to deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, parking areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and/or visitor activity, helping to verify authorized entry and following post instructions for deliveries, pickups, and other site movements. Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing for damaged property, open doors, unsecured trailers, and/or other security-related issues, then communicating findings according to site protocol. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
