Building Location:Building C - Duluth Clinic - 2nd StreetDepartment:2901020 ENDOCRINOLOGY - EH DCJob Description:Education Qualifications:Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Endocrinologist – 1.0 FTE Duluth, MN The freshwater of Lake Superior is alluring, the clean air is refreshing, and the views are amazing....check out Duluth, MN! PRACTICE SPECIFICS We are looking for a patient-centered Endocrinologist to join our team (2 Adult Endocrinologists: one in Duluth, MN, and one in Ashland, WI, 1 Pediatric Endocrinologist, 8 NP/PAs in Duluth, MN, and 1 NP in Ashland, WI, and 18 additional staff).Great position for work/life balance.Inpatient coverage at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center, a 344-bed tertiary care hospital, Level I Adult Trauma Center -or- Essentia Health-Duluth, a 165-bed hospital – both located on the same connected campus.Call is in effect for providers during office business hours only and triaged through our RN team first. An NP/PA team covers all hospital glucose management. Capability to apply and analyze latest diabetes related devices including pumps, sensors, and meters.Primarily outpatient practice: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Some outreach possible.No evening, weekend, or holiday call. Patient volume/day: 10-15.REQUIREMENTS BC/BE in Endocrinology, or BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a strong interest in Diabetes care. LOCATION Duluth, MN at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior 150 miles north of the north of Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro population: 125,000 Regional service area: 460,000.
