Okie Staffing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic who can work independently, diagnose issues quickly, and keep equipment running at peak performance. This is a hands‑on role working on diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment in an outdoor environment year‑round. If you take pride in your work, know your way around diesel systems, and don’t need constant supervision—this is a strong fit. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Pay Rate DOE $21.00 to $30.00 Overtime: Required as needed Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on trucks and equipment Complete engine repairs, overhauls, brake work, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues before failure Maintain accurate service records and documentationSafely operate shop tools and diagnostic equipment Work outdoors in all weather conditions Support overtime needs based on workload Requirements Minimum 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems Proven ability to diagnose and repair issues independently Must provide own tools Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to safety and detail Experience with heavy equipment, fleet, or truck maintenance A Plus to have ASE Certification, CDL, or OEM training Work Environment & Physical Demands Outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing Benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Pay Rate DOE $21.00 to $30.00 Overtime: Required as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Okie Staffing
